Feeling so suddenly barren
After once being so blissful
Living in guilt and sorrow
Behind love and compassion

Ripped from my heart and my body
Without the slightest warning
She was once a living soul within me
Now there lies pain and hunger

Once so fulfilled and worthwhile
So happy and overjoyed
She came to me in a daze
Leaving me in the same way

Carrying a soul within my own
Is unrivaled to all else
Nurturing a life as it grew
