Though we may be far away,
There are some words I feel I must say. There have been some rough times through the years, During which there have even been tears. I know that some of what you and I have said Have brought us both a little dread. I know that the events that do occur, May not be what we both prefer. Whatever happens, we will surpass; It will blend into our gloomy pasts. I will never forget the fear that once encompassed me, Maybe one day I'll look beyond it we'll see. You are always kept close to my heart, Even though we are miles apart.
